Why this workflow matters
HEVC is space efficient, but older devices, browsers, or workflows may not play it reliably. H.264 is safer when compatibility comes first.
Steps
- Import a file containing an HEVC/H.265 video stream.
- Choose an H.264-compatible output such as MP4.
- Select H.264, confirm resolution and audio settings, then convert.
